The REAL Bond Martini
Finally had to break down and do it... I made the real Bond Martini. Purists will tell you that the true recipe is from Casino Royale and also that Bond drank Bourbon here and there (Ian Flemming had a solid respect for the sauce).
It's not that glib "Vodka martini, shaken not stirred" chaff, this is a real... REAL tough Martini (also called the "Vesper").
Jack was curious, but he's too young to be drinking.

- 1 ounce Vodka
- 1/2 ounce Lillet (blanc)
- Large twist of lemon

Spotlight on my favorite shotglass (currently)
Out of all of the different glasses in my bar collection I have to recognize this shot glass as my favorite. It's weighted perfectly with a heavy base and the capacity is closer to about a half-ounce rather than a full shooter.

Bulleit Bourbon - Don't know why it's spelled that way but it's magical
Distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky this brilliant 90 proof bourbon is great for the price. It's on the dry-end for a bourbon, but it's very tasty.
